Salmon Hustle

After chasing small stripes in the brine for the better part of three windy, unproductive weeks to end the season around Thanksgiving, team SoundFly packed up our boots and headed north to the Naugatuck River in Connecticut for shots at Atlantic salmon.

As part of the State's annual stocking program in the river, the salmon we wrestled to shore along the deep pools and runs of the Naugatuck were healthy, fat and energetic. With six fish to hand ranging from 24"- 34"  we mainly found that dead drifted yellow bugs were most choice.  If you're looking to beat some cabin fever, twist one on and get in the Naugy.

Hit me up on Twitter, @Sound_Fly.

I sure wish we had some of that type of fishing down here in the south. Nice shots!
