WesternSound Albies

A pretty ideal mixed bag out there in the salty stuff.

Pictured in the spread are a collection of Freemasons hailing from the WesternSound: C. Lee, Dragon Slayer Bernstein, Pete Henderson and yours truly.

We've found decent counts of Striped fish holding on inshore rips. Obviously the East Wind can go kick rocks. Water temps have beeb high for much of September, making the tug a bit more elusive then ususal. But fish on - prime time these next two weeks.

The kids have been fishing west of BPT exclusively, but word on the street is Milford is primed for the striped fish and Tuna species.

Inshore bait has been good for those wading. Sillversides, mullet, peanuts and an occasional school of adults. Tucking inside the Norwalk Islands has been the play when it's blowing for the boats, working Cockenoe, Sheffield and Sprite. Speaking of the Islands...

On the Tuna front it's been Albacore jamming out on mid day tides.
