There's a fishy island up north...
Elihu and Teeth
... and it's producing a nice bite.
At the time of this posting WesternSound saltwater is a lot like your bathtub, warm and uneventful for you light tackle and fly enthusiasts. If your're trying to do some catching I suggest grabbing a pair of binoculars and looking for the birds - or don't sleep and go fishing for some Linesiders. It probably wouldn't hurt to pull out the black line and work deep.
Not trying to be a downer or anything, but the bite will improve sooner then later... last year at this time we were a few days out from having Bones landed on the fly off Westport.
Capt. Elser is on the prowl for the Bones and Albies - we'll keep you posted on when he starts taggin' em.
Someone's gotta keep you well-read right?
